Successful Moose Hunt – 2013
Four hours into the first morning!!

Thank you for your interest in Perry’s Guide Service.

I have been a registered Maine Guide for nearly 10 years and been hunting and fishing for over 30 years. Born and raised in Washington County, I grew up in Cherryfield, Maine, referred to as the “Blueberry Capital of the World”.  I was blessed to have parents that taught me work ethic and a love for the outdoors at an early age.  As a child, I sold night crawlers, mowed lawns, and raked blueberries for extra money. I still reside in Washington County, near Machias, and have worked in the Public Safety world for the last 23 years serving the same county that I grew up in.

My love for hunting and fishing has carried with me. Although I guide a variety of outdoor activities, my true passion is Waterfowl Hunting.  I have been fortunate to have met, hunted with and guided waterfowler’s from all of the U.S. I’ve also had the pleasure of owning and training two Labrador Retrievers over the years. It was so enjoyable watching them retrieve ducks and geese and having them as part of the family. They have crossed the rainbow bridge to the land of no bag limits, someday I will see them again. Recently, I began training two more Labrador Retrievers and they are doing great.  I expect to have a great time with them this upcoming season!

One of my favorite things in life is to see people enjoying the outdoors and all that Eastern Maine has to offer. I have the experience and equipment to safely take you hunting or fishing on or off the water.

I am looking forward to spending some time with you in in Maine outdoors. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information or with any questions you might have.

Was a slow start today as the water is still chilly. We managed several healthy looking fish. The boys took a few back to camp with them and put some back to be caught another day. These guys were great. Streamers in the prop wash and Northeast troller spoons were the ticket today. Shore lunch was good. Enjoyed the day and shared a shore lunch with Hunt East Adventures. We have a few spots open next week. ... See MoreSee Less
